Happipuppi13's First Post Since IMDB Boards Ended

Hello to all here on 'Movie Chat'. I just logged in here for
the first time since early 2017, when IMDb ruined all the fun.

I see some old familiar names and many I'm not familiar with.
I'm home today and I got al done I neded to and I thought , "I wonder if that site is still there?"

Took me a few to recall what the name was but a few minutes of
searching and I got it. My login was already filled i, so II didn't need to make a password.


On this site's first day last year, I signed up and logged on... but I opted not to stay. Reason being, IMDb's move really kind of ruined it for me but also, I'd been on for 13 years and it made me decide not to continue it here.

I missed it at first but, since then I've been busy working, falling in love and ( finally :) ) getting married just this past March. Plus a greater watching of the health and I think also, just finaly being an adult for real.

I'm turning *YIKES!* 50 in a few days and that 's nothing short of crazy to me. I sure don;t feel it. I started on IMDb in April 2004 while still 35 and a few weeks away from 36. ( Where I felt more like early to mid 20s.)

238 reviews and possibly 'thousands' of messages later, I can say there were times I was 'too' immature, not to mention (yes I'm admitting it) long winded in print. Along with sometimes putting posting above things that were far more important. Not proud of that.

What I am proud of are the reviews I wrote and the games
I made up for us to play like Name that #1 (or top 40) Hit. Plus a couple of others.

More than that, was feeling like a part of something great and
having some good private message conversations with quite a few of you.

Couple of bad eggs here and there but that's all in
the past. Still on IMDb by the way and also up to my 3rd 'puppy' pic.

I may log on again and I may even post a
game or respond to one. Meantime....time to go feed the boy. ; )
