Have you noticed that in every movie or tv show when a character answer to a phone call,the speaker is always activated?
They have hearing problems or something?
They often don't have to dial or wait for someone to pick up either.
shareI guess I haven't noticed that phenomenon. What I recall most is characters who end calls without saying goodbye.
shareUnless I'm outside, I always put my phone on speaker. That way I don't have to hold it to my ear the whole time.
Also, get real, croft. You think people in the 1940s had speaker, just because you can hear the caller on the other end of the line in movies from that era?
