Tomorrow night or Wednesday morning TCM is showing
4 Miss Marple films back to back.

I love the these films.

You sent me down another 🐰 hole. Margaret Rutherford was there. So was her husband, Stringer Davis, and their "adopted" son-->daughter, Gordon Langley Hall-->Dawn Langley Hall/Simmons. Quite a story.

I really don't like her as Miss Marple. She just doesn't suit the part.

I think she is absolutely adorable as Miss Marple.
Just a different take on the part.

She's too assertive and quirky. I prefer Joan Hickson. I believe even Agathie Christie envisioned her as Miss Marple.

Oh, I agree Christie never would have never picked Rutherford.
