I am not gay but i am frequently told that im fabulous
So does that sort of count?

Wow
That was unkind
Pete Is a good dude
He asked a simple question and as it turns out he is probably the only gay guy here
I dont think that gives you or anyone else a license to use hateful talk...
Jeez...slow your roll yawkee
Hey
Guess what number im thinking of yawkee
Its 0 which aint even a number
Get it together bro
I know of at least one other gay man amongst our ranks, and he's yet to reply to this post. Yawkee has been a tool since the moment he arrived on the scene. It's people like that whom shouldn't even be responded to at all. I appreciate it, but your scolding only validates and encourages him. He wants a response, and the only appropriate thing to show him he's not welcome is give him no energy.
shareYou ain't no better, Pete. You love to dish it, but, then when it's time to take it you portend feebleness, sashay about a few posts---then go into seclusion.
sharezero is a number, you idiot, what would you call 302, thirty two?
shareMy husband and I are straight. 😊 Our son happens to be gay. He and his long time partner finally got married two years ago, much to our happiness!
shareInteresting that you worded your response about you and your husband as you did. There are couples with one bi partner and I wonder how those relationships stay together? I would think that the straight partner would be jealous of any outsider in a relationship. Then there is the matter of one partner who is gay or bi for play to satisfy the other partner. In other words the player only does what they do for a show for their partner and no further emotional condition exists for the player towards an outsider. I knew of a couple of couples where the wife played the role of gay/bi for the satisfaction of the husband in having a threesome. Which is to say that the woman has no objection to interacting with another woman but has no desire to do so on her own. The same condition no doubt exists in terms of the husband assuming the role of gay/bi but gets far less social discussion. I have always assumed that women were smarter in not allowing outsiders in and not having open marriages but I wonder if that is still true with younger women today.
shareHow old were you when you came out? I have two friends who waited until after college to tell their families and friends.
shareExcuse me... I know that you are talking to Pete, but I'm curious.
Did they have any problems with their parents? My son had a good friend in school who finally came out when he was in college. His own mother has nothing to do with him to this day. I find it sad. He is her only child.
Our son told us shortly after graduating from High School. It was no big deal.
No problems whatsoever. Both families were 100% supportive and like you said, it really wasn't a big deal.
How long has your son's friend been estranged from his mother? That must be tough, especially on a day like today.
It's been about 17 years. It has to be difficult, and that's putting it mildly. He moved to another state. Our son still stays in touch.
shareThat's a multifaceted question. I came out to myself, as in said it out loud and knew what it meant when I was 8. The first time I spoke the words to someone else I was 16. I told my siblings around 24, and my parents when I was 27.
shareno
