When I was a teen I caught and ate a rattlesnake. Tasted kind of like chewy chicken and was rather delicious.

Kudo. Really liked it. Much better than deer or moose. Used to get bison a lot during the mad cow scare as it was cheaper. Like the steaks but not a fan of ground bison. I do think that yak is one of my favourite steaks.

shareI have memories of my grandfather eating periwinkles with a toothpick. He was a fisherman and used to bring home all kinds of weird stuff my dad told me.
Have you had jackfruit? It's has a meat-like consistency if you cook it properly.
Exactly, you eat them with some kind of needle, which is a hassle because they're so small!
I've had canned jackfruit, jackfruit ice cream and jackfruit juice. Tasty.
