When we first all got together on this site, there seemed to be quite a few of us. Now it seems as though the ladies are dropping like flies!

Yes you're absolutely right and I've also mentioned those same issues before. Quite galling too that Trump gets more activity than almost any movie or TV board. And that could very much put new potential users off. Myself and others have tried to remedy that but with not much success. Ultimately, there needs to be more users and definitely more women!

Oh, I don't kid myself that this or any movie site now is as big as IMDb was. We are all scattered now. It just depends on the sites one likes now.

Folks seem to overlook the fact that MC is just over a year old. It takes time to build a following. IMDb wasn't built overnight, either - it took years. So we have to hang in there and keep building.

But as Margo said, MC is only a year old, while IMDb had been around for more than 10 years, so it'd be a flat-out miracle if MC were as active as it was.

This site is not maintained well. There are no enhancements, and no real creative workings. They also do not edit/moderate well. I don't see it lasting until they start to get serious and stop encouraging bad behavior, because that is all they will end up getting.
