Well, I just don't know sometimes. I'm tired. Tired of people stealing from everybody else. Tired of ignorant people giving their money to criminals who simply ask for it with a story that's not even convincing. Tired of people stealing my time. Tired of politicians stealing an entire country. Tired of people depriving less fortunate people of justice. Tired of confusing willfully ignorant stubbornness for tenacity and honor. Tired of this this whole sham. I'm tired of being a 30 year old person who is treated like a child without a voice. Tired of what little voice I have making no difference. Tired of the struggle. Tired of incomplete people talking louder and knowing little. I'm so tired.

If you're talking about panhandlers. That's tricky. Do you have ANY belief that he saw you get out of your car? If so, you got 2 choices: give him the money, or, move your car.

More about old people giving money to people on the phone, when those people just Trojaned them and are actively stealing all their information, and then demanding to be paid for their theft, and then the people paying them, and then me going to work to put money back in those same people's accounts, just so they can be scammed again, and they will.

Yes, it's a huge problem exacerbated by the elderly "hiding out" in their homes to avoid being warehoused. The longer they hold out the more susceptible to scammers they become. I don't blame them though, I'll hide to when that time comes. And that time is within sight.

I live in a retirement community and with regularity I'll see homes being gutted with the attendant dumpster out front neatly parked in the driveway. Drywall pieces peaking over the top of the dumpster. The elderly will stay there, hide there, die there and by the time they're discovered the remains have penetrated that drywall. Made the house uninhabitable.

You're being too harsh on the elderly. Why do you think they're being targeted? Their brains don't work as well as they used to. You should be upset with the criminals.

I'm more frustrated with elderly people who don't realize they're a danger to everyone on the road!

Your post really makes me sad. My friends and I often say we are glad we are at the end of life stage, how hard it would be to be young today.

So here's some unsolicited advice (don't we all love that):

Seek out the God of the Bible. That will give you meaning and hope. Second, if your lifestyle would allow it, get a dog, seriously.

And thirdly, go to the dark side, become a Democrat and none of that will bother you anymore and you'll find a way to live off the people and not feel quilty.

Don't feel too bad. While I wouldn't say that was disgusting, I would say that was weird.

I sometimes feel as you do after watching the news too much. I take a break from it on weekends.
I wish there was some advice or words of wisdom I could impart, but I got nothing. I just try to concentrate on the positive things that are going on in my life and find a little humor where I can find it. It helps to balance those harsh realities in this old world.
You say you get tired of people scamming old folks? Try going to YouTube . check out Hoax Hotel. Very funny stuff with real scammers being scammed. It helps to laugh a little at some of the crazy stuff.
