"a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather."
There really is a word for everything.

I had never heard that one. Such a short word for a detailed description.
Paramecium - a single cell organism that feeds on its own mucus.
I learned that one from Peter Banning aka Peter Pan in Hook. π
shareYou and I like a lot of the same movies it seems, hhhmmm...
shareBangarang
shareLooked it up, never knew about it. It's now on my watch list right behind 'Conan' and '13th Warrior'.
shareConan is priority number 1!
shareOh I was just exclaiming "bangarang" but that is apparently a Hook prequel short, I just learned of it now
shareNo way! Neither of us knew?
shareNo, kind of hard to believe the same guy could play Rufio in a prequel made 26 years later π€
Also my little sister's miniature dachshund is named Rufio.
Never mind, he plays a different character
shareStill, that is something no one would ever expect to happen after 30 years. Then again, it's Peter Pan, likely the most told story to ever come out of the United States adaption-wise.
Rufio is a very fitting name for a Dachshund; small, territorial, and loyal.
