Have any of you Movie Chatters ever met up with someone you had previously established an anonymous online relationship with? Not really talking about quick sex hookups or anything like that, but more meeting someone you chatted with quite a bit but only knew as a username. This site or others, and if not, would you?
shareOn Imdb I became friends with a guy from Canada who was a big John Wayne fan. We figured out after about five years that we lived about 10 minutes apart. So we had a few telephone conversations and then he moved to Northern Ontario and we lost contact.

shareGotcha. I never befriended anybody that strongly on imdb but I did know some people in real life who I later connected to their usernames. I was in high school during my imdb heydays and my friends were movie people.
