A movie that only you seem to like?

Billy Bathgate. I'm not even sure people know this movie exists. It's got one hell of a cast -- Nicole Kidman, Steve Buscemi, Bruce Willis, Dustin Hoffman, Steven Hill -- and they're all excellent. Compared to the high-energy likes of "Casino" and "Goodfellas" it's comparatively languid pace might be a major turn-off for some. I, however, find it refreshingly different ... and captivating. It also sports excellent period design and moody cinematography.

I was not going to comment on this thread - I thought it would take to long to think of one.
Well , lo and behold , " Valley Of The Dolls " just turned up on one of my channels. Now , I know it was blasted by the critics , and Jacqueline herself hated it. All my friends dismissed it as garbage .

I could care less - I enjoyed it then and I am enjoying it now. Sure , it is basically , just a glitzy soap opera , but I don't care , I dig it and I thought Patty Duke gave a great performance . Plus , Sharon Tate , basically a novice was good , too. JMHO

I'll side ya on *Runaway Train & **Sons of Katie Elder.

*The specter of Voight standing atop that train is boundless.

*Eric Roberts then. He was-at prime-without peer.

**He was just back from cancer. A new lease on life. It was still before him. Time had stood still.

**Hopper, playing it perfectly when Wayne comes a knockin' on the door to his childhood home.

**Jeremy Slate kinda overplaying his role, but, you could tell it was just out of happiness to be in that company.

So much more.

Runaway Train also one of my favorites - just watched it the other day.
The Sons Of Katie Elder , a classic in my book.
Also enjoyed the other ones on your list , but most everybody I knew enjoyed them also.

& with "Elder" no matter how many times I've seen it, if it is on at the ending I always get choked up when Wayne pushes that rocking chair just a little.

Ghost in the Machine (1993) (4.4/10 IMDB Rating)

Stay Alive (2006) (5.1/10 IMDB)

These two cheesy techno/cyber sci-fi horror thriller movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.

They rank up there in same cheesyness as the more known same genre movie Brainscan. Also a guilty pleasure of mine.
