Your country's serial killers

I know you Americans have quite a
list to choose from but which serial killer or killers from your own country stick in your mind the most.

As an Aussie the quintessential back packer killer Ivan Milat epitomizes the 'don't tour the Aussie outback' for me.

The other more domestic type is the vigilante come outright murderous bastard, John Bunting known as the 'bodies in the barrels' killer. There was an ecellent film made about him called Snowtown.

What a coincidence! Just a few days ago I decided to read up on some Dutch serial killers. I always thought Koos Hertogs was such a creep. He tortured, raped and murdered three girls in a torture chamber he built in his attic. One girl had a ballpoint stabbed through her ear. The youngest girl he lured away when she left her classroom to get something from the closet in the hall.

I guess every country has their share of evil people.

I live in Milwaukee and I think about Jeffrey Dahmer every time I pass the Ambassador Hotel. Unsolved killers like Zodiac and The Original Night Stalker sort of haunt me too, but as you said OP, America is one messed up place

Robert Pickton and his Piggy Palace Good Times Society. Criminal Minds had an episode inspired by him.
