Probably not the most epic, but I will always remember that first shot of the brontosaurus in Jurassic Park.

The opening and ending of Beauty and the Beast from 1991. The ending of Pocahontas also gives me chills.

Or how about The Usual Suspects or The Sixth Sense just when the twist is about to be revealed.
