Worst TV wife ever?

Hank's wife in "Breaking Bad." She was about as shrewish, hypocritical, wretchedly-performed, and unlikable as a TV wife gets.

reply

I binged the series over a few days and usually fast forwarded through any scenes with her or her sister.

reply

Skyler White was terrilble
He was not a great guy but c'mon!
Walt deserved better

reply

Two of the worst wives ever on the same show!

reply

I couldn't stand Lucy.

reply

This is one of those rare times we disagree my man
I thought Lucy was hot stuff!
I would have put up with her frequent hijinks quite patiently

reply

That's fine, but she was a manipulative, lying human screed of a woman, in my view.

reply

Fair enough
Im no prize either

reply

Peg Bundy. Even someone as inept as Al Bundy should have found someone better. It's not like he was a Catholic who do not believe in divorce. One of a few flaws in that show.

reply

Jeez...i was all about Peg on that silly show
I adored Peg Bundy!
Politely agree to disagree...and please pass the Peggy!

reply

Peg was sassy, smart-assed and sexy. Ask dewey how I feel about smart-assed.

reply

Yeah, but would you want to be married to her and watch her suck your checking account dry and never have dinner on the table. Not me. I don't care how good she might be in bed.

reply

I dont eat that much and ive got just enough scratch to keep the heat on
Im all about that Peg!

reply

We're talking about a tv sitcom here : fiction, escapism, coping mechanism.

reply

Well you seem like a real smart ass (it makes you one of the cool kids😉)

And forget that dewey fella...never a straight answer from that wiseacre and he will keep on gabbing all night!

reply

Now, now. Have some respect for the old codger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbNCBVzPYak

reply

That pretty much sums up every exchange ive ever had with the guy!
'I see your point now wise one'

Also am i nuts or did the kid ('me') really look like Christian Bale??

reply

Keep recruiting pal.

You're going to need an army.

reply

Nah😛

reply

What is this?
Boy oh boy when the cat's away......

reply

Oh shoo cat shoo!!

reply

Bless you.

reply

Gracias

reply

Old man, how is it that you became so quickly aware of this ? 😁

reply

I must have had a very rare moment of clarity.

Old man take a look at my life
I'm a lot like you. 😲

reply

...a real smart ass...

I will wear that designation with the same pride, honor and dignity as the lion, tin man and scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz after they were finally acknowledged. 😁

reply

And she had really big yabos!

😎

reply

Uhmm, that's redundant. It was already covered under " sexy. "

reply

Well okay then.

😎

reply

I would love me some Peggy. A constantly horny wife who was always begginf for it?

reply

I wonder if people get this thread in that it is about terrible wives. The whole idea is that you don't get to boink Peg for an hour during the afternoon without a commitment such as marriage. You have to support her financially while she leaves you with nothing to eat and nothing to spend. I would imagine the bathroom is probably nasty.

reply

The wife from hell.

reply

The wife in "Crocodile" on Black Mirror. She is a triple murderess.

😎

reply

A lil' update on that one MMC.
Quadruple if you count the blind baby at the end
reply

I was counting the baby. Let's see: her boyfriend (accidental), the woman with the machine, the woman's husband and baby. Oh Dang! You are correct, that IS four! Obviously I can't count. Thanks. She was horrible.

😎

reply

She left the hamster alone though MMC and so she has a heart 😉

reply

She didn't think the hamster was a threat. She was wrong.

😎

reply

Evil Edna.

Look her up, it's worth it 😉

reply

Sally McMillan from McMillan and Wife - all the butting in with police investigations.

reply

Mrs. Columbo ! He talked about her constantly but whenever the opportunity arose to meet her, some excuse was presented to dodge us. 😉

reply

Same with Vera Peterson from Cheers.

reply

If you are going to bring up Vera, don't forget Marris from Frasier. Poor little Niles!
oh well.... he finally got his happiness.

reply

Excellent call !!!

I haven't seen that show in so long.
I've been thinking about this, did we ever see Colonel Potter's wife in MASH?
Mildred. Maybe in a picture?

reply

Yes, I seem to recall Mildred's picture on his desk. She was a good wife though. She'd have to be wonderful to have been left on her own for so long, presumably keeping the home fires burning.

reply

That's true she was a good woman.

A topic for a different thread.

reply

Desperate housewives.
