Coffee vs Tea in the morning?

What do you prefer? I drink my medium roast coffee with a splash of skim milk in the morning, and in the afternoon any kind of tea hits the spot. I like the jolt of caffeine that coffee provides when I wake up, and enjoy the head clearing clarity of tea in the afternoon.

I don't do this on a regular basis, but green tea (decaffeinated) is my choice. Green tea, without milk or sugar, is for me.

Some green teas are peach, lemon, or mint-flavored. I like the peach and mint-flavored green tea, also.

Martel Cordon Bleu Cognac; or at least my version of Spanish Coffee, which is rich dark Colombian roast with the Martel and Kahlúa.

Hey, I take Lyft to the office.

reply

Wow! Interesting flavors you've chosen there, R_Kane!!

Do you like Lyft? I think it's great! It's way cheaper and more reliable than a regular Taxi Cab. Moreover, they screen their drivers quite thoroughly, which is also extremely important.

reply

Thank you. Both Lyft and Uber are cheaper, and more responsive, than taxicabs, but they both have their share of GSP-slave, non-thinking, no-English-speaking alleged drivers.

Generally speaking, tea. I'm allowed this because, although technically American, I'm half Brit. My mother, a coffee-drinker, used to say I'd make my grandmother proud because I much preferred tea over coffee.

Earl Grey is my favourite, but I'll take any, and sometimes prefer a variety of herbal teas. Usually with sugar and milk or cream, but sometimes sugar and lemon. Or honey and lemon. It depends.

Iced tea is a staple in mi casa.

If I'm going to drink coffee, I like a good fine/espresso grind, with cream/creamer and sugar. One cup and I'm done. I don't like coffee-induced jitters; I can do jittery all by myself, thank you. While tea is supposed to have a reasonably high amount of caffeine too, I've not once gotten jittery on tea.

Coffee. Tea is for pussies.
