Careful....or you may end up looking & feeling like one of the following. Been there soooo many times! Promising “Never Again”....until the next time. There’s one thing worse than going to bed drunk; it’s waking up drunk! Oh, lordy me....
LOL! Here’s to a jolly good time! Is Dewey on your kiss card (like a dance card)? I think his feelings are hurt since you found another fella while he was away. Poor Dewey...sigh
Way to go girl! I hope I can copy the following without cracking up!😂 I was at a loss for words when I read this. Apparently Dewey knows you too well.
As per Dewey: That's how I got on her card last time.
She was blitzed.
It's a pretty long line though. Around the corner already.
They'll all find out she's worth it.
Nooo...I don’t think so since I’m not of that “Friendly Persuasion”. Wasn’t there a movie with that title? Besides Dewey or some other fella will have locked lips with the “Great Stratego”! Comatose on the bathroom floor or flitting through the house with a red plastic cup makes no difference....
Dewey, did ya see Stratego’s reply? Better get your name on her kiss💋card. Fellas are lining up for New Year’s Eve! Forgive her for being such a player....she can’t hep it!

😂I’m sorry...I’m at a loss for words. I can hardly write this for laughing. You are priceless! But, please do give me more details about this long distance love affair.
As Romeo said “My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.”
And a Happy New Year to you also. Every year it seems like it takes less and less booze to trigger a hangover and they last longer and longer, so I behave myself these days.
Happy New Year to you too!
I have always made it a rule never to start the new year with a hangover. I always stay home. I may have a glass of beer early in the evening, but I go to bed early.
To all of the folks here at MovieChat, Have a happy and safe evening.
Miss Margo, you definitely are on the right track. I haven’t been blitzed in years. Back in the ‘80’s when we lived near Dallas there were neighborhood parties. We didn’t have to get on the road, just walked to the different house parties. Some of the houses were built on a rise which didn’t make for sure footing with snow & ice. I recall one New Year’s Eve, I was dressed to the hilt, and had borrowed my cousin’s faux fur coat. We were leaving, of course I was quite a bit tipsy with a drink in my hand, when all of a sudden I lost my footing and slid down that damn hill! But, I didn’t spill my drink! Not a drop! There I was at the bottom of the hill with my arm straight up holding that red plastic cup! A sight to behold! I couldn’t get up. Every time I tried I slid right back down holding onto that stupid cup. I finally gave up and just sat there enjoying whatever was in the cup. Another one of my stories.
LOL! I applaud you! You were simply being smart in the situation in which you found yourself. You knew that you would need that drink after such an experience!
Thanks for the laugh!
A legend was born near Dallas in the 1980s! 😉 LOL. I enjoy stories like this.
I don't think I've ever had a hangover. Unless I had one that I don't remember?? 🤔
🍾🥂 Cheers and Happy New Year to my fellow Chatters! 🍾🥂
Truth be told a legend was born wherever I lived and had a few adult beverages in me. My husband did his best to tame me, but it was party hardy for me whenever I could!
I like my steaks rare! (^ ^)
I have had people tell me in the past I could be a good counselor or youth pastor of some kind.
Those are some very kind words.
A lot of comes having to learn how to overcome physical difficulties and interacting with others in similar predicaments.
You always seem to live for the moment; living without worry, making the most of each day while tackling troubles that may come your way. Everyday is an adventure, even if you're just staying at home. It shows through your personality. People should be so fortunate to have such a handle over themselves.
Thanks for finding this. Reading it again made me feel like Dewey😇 was still with us. Come to think of it, as long as we have his words...he is with us. Blessed be to Dewey!🥤🍾🥂
