“Evil Kin” Episode “Body Farm” about the Wineville Chicken Coop murders in the 1920’s. The movie “Changeling” with Angelina Jolie was based on this horrific case. I had nightmares over this!

reply

Has anyone seen "The Nightmare". It's been on my Netflix list forever and haven't gotten around to watching it. I'm interested because I have very vague memories of sleep paralysis as a child.

VICE has a fascinating documentary on their Youtube Channel called "Living Without Laws: Slab City, USA.

reply

I actually own that, but i am pretty sure it's not an actual documentary on sleep paralysis. More like a faux-documentary style movie.

Deliver Us from Evil -2006

About a priest who raped and molested at least 25 children.
The church covered up his crimes several times. They kept moving him from church to church.
Each church he went to he molested more children.
He was deported and the church still took care of him.

A few years after this documentary showed on TV members of his new church recognized him.
He was a volunteer at their church and organized kids events.

About as disturbing as it gets .

reply

I saw that a few years ago.
Absolutely astounding.

reply

It really disgusted me.

They churches they moved him to were all close to each other.
Then we ship him over to Ireland to do it all over again to a new group of victims.

reply

Didn't they interview him too?
He wasn't really of the opinion he'd done anything wrong and neither obviously were the church.

reply

Yes they did interview him.

He was more upset that this was interfering with this "life."
The church looked at like it an inconvenience that they had to deal with this.
They still stood up and defended him in court.
If I remember correctly it just wasn't 1 or 2 people who knew about him.
It was kind of a general knowledge thing.

"Well, that's just Ollie". "That's what he does."
"Let's just send him to the next town over"
"Now let's talk the important business and get this new sound system installed"

"Night Will Fall" was an amazing documentary...absolutely tragic and horrific. That one will stay with me for a long time. It had video footage of when the concentration camps were liberated and what they found when they got there. Extremely disturbing.
