I really mean to make it there some day...bit busy now and that is not a cheap trip from here!
Europe sounds wonderful though and from what ive heard its not just an awe inspiring experience in terms of art and history but the various cultures and people are pretty interesting too
Someday when i retire ill go all around it for a month or so

Im really just a product of my education and early years and both were heavy on the Eurocentric view of things...still, im a curious sort so ive read and viewed a lot about South America, Asia, Africa...all have been amazing learning experiences
But nothing entices me more than crazy, historical, artistic and beautiful Europe!
Honorable mention to Australia tho...love everything ive ever heard of that place plus id like to see if i could drink with an Australian and not need carrying out afterwards lol

Yes, I've actually been to Disneyworld. It was freaking fantastic. I'm sure it wasn't a completely accurate representation of the country, but I thought people were really friendly and polite in the parks and at the airport, and not just personnel.

We have a blustery and bullish rep around the world but most people here in the US tend to be decent

I do this dumb thing where i try to hit the 70th or 80th thousand post on general discussion...i seem to be the only one who cares but Hownos beat me to 70k about a month ago and youll never guess who made post 80k...
It was YOU lol
Again...nobody cares but a nerdy sort like me but you beat me by a second and did it with grace and class

I live in Europe. Unfortunately, I never visited amazing countries like France, Germany or the UK. I wanna do that in the future

Always... UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Sweden, etc... Even smaller charming countries like Malta...

I actually been to Malta with my family myself too. It's a beautiful island with a lot of unique things. Spent an entire week there few years ago. I wish to go visit other European countries around some point too.

Yes. I've been to England (twice), Ireland, N. Ireland, Scotland, France (twice), Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, The Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Italy. I enjoyed them all. Before you go to a country it's just a name. After you've been there,
it's a place.

I agree --- I used to read and read about other countries, etc., but it wasn't the same UNTIL I went there.... People THINK something, but unfortunately most make excuses not to go and then say "Man, you're so lucky" and I have to reply back "Well, you spent it on clothes and phones"

Why do some Americans think they talk to only other Americans on forums? I see this so often, no other nationality does this!

Actually we don't. We know there are folks from other countries here. That's one of the things which makes it fascinating.
