shareI have one of my old phones still, just in case (ok, in the very likely event) that I lose the new one.
The Walmart in my neighborhood has a self-serve machine in their lobby that gives cash for old phones. Pretty cool.
lol at likely event!
That phone turn in booth is pretty cool
Respectfully - I don't do WalMart. I avoid them. Cheap junk made overseas. They don't respect the US economy, they just want to rake money. Not a MallWart fan.
shareOh yes, I still got my oldest one. I think it's Nokia 3310, somewhere in a drawer. I wouldn't dream of throwing it away. Still got the text messages left, sweet memories. :)

I never go to the several 'retreats' or office parties my shop does every year...
Im not very mature and i tend to get aggressive...so i steer clear:/
Better off i just go home
I wish I had not gotten rid of my old Motorola flip phone.

I have old phones dating back to the 1930's I believe. I'm not a pack rat, but I tend to keep certain old stuff like phones.
Oh yeah, and my cell phone is an old style flip phone. Old Skol here. I also like to stay off the grid as much as possible.
😎
No smartphone for me. The most advanced I got was to a slider, which is sitting in a drawer now, but I've gone back to a flip phone. My slider was really good at butt-dialing; it would turn itself on and start dialing. I think it was possessed.

A slider??
😎
Sorry. A slider is a phone that has a keyboard that slides out when you want to text. Does that make sense?
share
Yeah, I guess so, I've just never seen one. To me a "slider" is a White Castle hamburger. Mmmmm!
😎
White Castle was around where I grew up. I don't know why, but nobody I knew called them sliders. We do now, but not back then. It was just, "hey, do you want White Castle?"
share
We didn't call them sliders either when I was young. We just said "Hey, do want some "White Castles?"
I began to hear them called sliders about 10 years ago. Apparently that's a more recent appellation.
😎
No, good riddance to them
shareI still keep my Sony Ericsson and Motorola
