shareSeems like it rains a lot in McCabe and Mrs Miller, but it could be that it snows a lot, which creates a lot of mud.
Either way, crappy weather seems a strong motif in McCabe.
Also, there is a significant scene in The Quiet Man (Wayne, O'Hara) when it thunders and storms and rains, and Big John wears a white shirt that gets soaked while MO'H starts clutching him. I'm surprised how overt it is, almost like a wet t-shirt contest.
