Most of you guys probably hate her in this category but I always defended her acting skills. I think she's so underrated. Call me mad but she's even one of my favorite actresses.
My favorite films are "Blood and Wine" (1996), "Anaconda" (1997), "Selena" (1997), "The Cell" (2000), "Enough" (2002), "An Unfinished Life" (2005), "Parker" (2013)

shareI think she is adequate in more recent stuff like Shades of Blue, a little rocky on older stuff. She always acts like Jennifer Lopez and doesn't have the ability to disappear into a character the way great actors do. Do people usually hate on her?
shareYes dear, I've read tons of hateful comments about her acting. Moder-day Hollywood is full of overrated actors who can't act well. Jennifer can act better than some of our modern so-called "superstars"

Actress?? Mmmmmm. Haven't seen any of those "classics", so to be fair I can't really comment on her acting "skills". She does have a nice butt though.
I hear she was really good in Gigli despite its 2.4 IMDB rating and 7% RT rating.

At the beginning of her career I think she skated by primarily on being good looking, not a great actress. The first few things I saw her in didn't really make her a must see and the films she lead later didn't look interesting to me so I never took my time to watch them. My opinion hasn't changed much because I havn't bothered to watch much for many years.

The Cell and Out of sight were good.
Sheโs not a particularly bad actress by any means, but nothing special either.
