I just wanted to register but they banned me for no reason? I'm still shocked

I don't know how they are getting away with using "imdb" as part of their name. Surprised they haven't been hit with a cease-and-desist letter yet.
Not exactly "for no reason", but I was banned because another poster (who'd apparently stalked me around here), went beserk because they didn't agree with what I said. I didn't insult anyone, call anyone names or said anything offensive. I had been posting there for at least 6 months without any problems. I'm sure I got banned because I criticised the site in a thread over here.

It was crazy when I was banned because they didn't even give me a reason why. I had told the owner there was a video on youtube talking about how long it takes to register there and get accepted, but why he banned me if not for that.. I'll never know. They should take my stupid posts down if they aren't going to let me on. I'm glad I got banned though because it sent me in this direction. I hardly had posted over there anyways, it was just the first one I came across when IMDb was shutting theirs down.
Yeah but I'm back to square-one as far as trying to visualize you. I felt confident I had you pegged accurately with the Doris Day characterization in the Who Looks Like Who thread. š

shareOk Stratego. My situation is a bit different. I visited that forum as a Guest (during 2 weeks) but only today I decided to register and VOILA, I am banned. I'll be honest, I had some problems with reCAPTCHA while registrating.

shareThey do ban for no reason. I think maybe trying to make it a private board or something. Its crazy. When I got banned I was so shocked. It stopped bugging me after I bit and said its them, not me. I heard they had a mass ban over there and just got rid of a bunch of people.
Well I did send the admin this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c900Ba57wHg in a private message to see if he had seen it. Must have thought it was me making it?, but I wasn't banned until a little while after that. Maybe he's paranoid and thought it was me and I was going to start bashing him on YouTube. Regardless, I think I should have been talked to before being banned. That's just my 2 cents on this. No great loss.

Banned for no reason. I have no idea who this person is, on or off the internet I just happened upon it when I did a search on Youtube for imdbv2, and this is what comes up. I thought maybe someone did a video comparing the new sites, but nope it was just those two that I found.
