The Houston Texans ALL took a knee during the National Anthem on Sunday

This is disrespecting the Anthem, the Flag, and our great Country, and is a disgrace.

Yesterday Deshawn Watson, their star Quarterback, tore his ACL, and is out for the season.
This is on top of J.J. Watt, their star Linebacker (and another key players whose name I can't
recall at this moment) being out for the season with an injury. Without these players the Texans will NOT make the playoffs.

Seems like Karma really is a BITCH.

Nice lol

Maybe we should just get rid of the National Anthem at sports events, and then there's no conflict? People are there to see a game, anyway...not to pledge their allegiance.

reply

Or maybe we should get rid of the jerks who disrespect the anthem.

Cutting the anthem puts the issue to bed once and for all, though. If you want resolution, there it is.

I just watch the football

reply

^hes The King and hes never wrong!!!

reply

And after you capitulate to these morons on this, what will they demand next?

Well, don't we deal with things on a case by case basis? Politics (ie, the national anthem) has nothing to do with a stupid football game, anyway.

You don't want the anthem disrespected, so get it out of the line of fire.

Then, when sports teams begin demanding we toss babies into a bonfire in its place, we deal with that.

Whats sad is this is doing nothing for the original reason that Kaep supposedly knelt. That reason has long been lost from the narrative. Now its just stubbornness because people didn't roll over and accept how they want to protest. When the kneeling was at its height it wasn't for injustice it was to spite Trump. When the Texan's knelt recently it was because they were oversensitive about something the owner said. Its no longer about the cause its about some of the players egos, at least that's what it looks like now. Whats the point of a protest if what you are doing is not helping?

reply

When the league folds and they realize no one is going to pay them millions for playing with a ball anymore, they’ll be on their knees begging forgiveness.

reply

Kaepernick has already flip-flopped on his so-called conviction, saying he will stand for the anthem if he's hired.

reply

That loser Kaepernick doesn't even vote! What a friggin' moron! I hope he NEVER gets another NFL gig, and he should consume excrement and expire!

He was never a good representative of that issue to begin with. He comes from a very privileged background and I doubt that he's ever experienced any real injustice or oppression.

reply

This is true. He's a spoiled rich kid.

reply

he didn't seem to understand what he was protesting.

reply

I think he's too dumb to understand much of anything. The dumb ass doesn't even vote.
