shareI think extending physical youth and quality of life would be a better bet for me. But living forever as a human?
Endless time would rob me of passion and a zest for life. There's no periods...just one long runaway sentence.
And I think it would begin to feel like a sentence a century or so in..
So, no...I wouldn't accept.
I would accept it. I would love to see how things turn out over time.
shareMostly yes - but it depends.
If there's a high price, like your soul or something, then no.
And as long as you retain your youth - or stay the same age physically as well as mentally - for the entirety of your mortality, then absolutely yes.
A thousand years might be cool, to see what the future holds, but I would say no to immortality.
Also, a thousand years might become realistic fairly soon. I've read that the techniques theoretically required are already basically being used.
