Would you rather be able to time travel or fly?
Time travel
shareNeither...can i read minds instead??

shareI want to be able to teleport, like just instantly travel from one spot to another, even if I am inside a locked room. (or, I could teleport INTO a locked room) Like a star trek transporter.
So would flying accomplish that, or do you have to physically fly like superman?
Would the time travel also involve traveling through space, or would you just go to the exact same place but in the past or future?
Of course time travel would also means space travel because if not you'll always end up in random place in space (or inside the ground, etc).
shareIn that case I choose time travel (if it also includes moving locations) and I would just go one second into the future, in the desired location.
In movies that have time travel machines, they don't move you to a different location. they just take you to the exact same place in a different time. So you kind of have to be careful, like in prehistoric times there was an inland sea in the US where there is now dry land. So if you go back too far your city will be underwater.
Same with going to the future- with global climate change, most coastal areas of low elevation will be underwater. Most of my city will be underwater when sea levels rise. So going too far in the future, you never know what places will still safe landing spots.
Also, Earth revolves around the Sun every year. So if the time machine just move in time but stay still in the exact spot, let's say 6 month in the past or in the future, you'll end up in a space very far far away from Earth.
That's not counting the movement of the entire Solar System around the galaxy and the movement of the galaxy itself. And who knows how fast the universe moves around.
I was thinking same place in terms of latitude and longitude.
Yes, teleportation would be even better!
shareAlso time travel. Much more useful.
shareI will think twice before time traveling...if i can change it...
shareimagine going back in time to when your father was 16, then killing him, how would you be born? talk about a paradox
