Do you ever feel as if your life is a reboot?
I've definitely been feeling that way for a few years now. It's like the same as shit with different people involved.

shareActually...i think in my past life,i was a detective.
shareWhat makes you say that?
shareI have a six sent...so to speak...i feel immediatly that must be more then meets the eye...i can't explain it.
shareDid you just say six sent? Was that meant to be a joke or something? Lol
shareDamn,this english...sense not sent...six sense...lol
shareYeah your English is really bad. Margo is right though. You shouldn't feel bad or apologetic about. Feel free to butcher the English language all you want.
So you believe in reincarnation. I don't. I believe that we only live one life.
Exactly how I feel. I've had people with a specific problem I help them with, they get past it, and then literally days later someone else steps in to replace them, having JUST developed the same problem and needing my help.
shareYou seriously must be a really nice person if people are always coming to you for help. It's not a bad thing until it wears you out. You can only give so much.
shareWell I've been accused of being too nice, of not being able to say no... And it fits, to a degree. If it gets to be too much, I'll more likely just cut someone out of my life completely, because someone who takes advantage, with no conscience, is not a friend.
It's tougher when a family member becomes the one in need, though...

That is called wisdom...
Very good post and completely true
This does often take years and years of practically abuse to cut these people out of your life. I have gone through very similar situations and I always seem to get "sucked" back in.
Truer words were never spoken that you "find out who your friends are" when you have troubles.

Those are words to live by.
It's depressing though isn't it? Sometimes its heartbreaking. That's life though. And let's all believe in karma.
shareIt is so painful when you realise that the person/people who have been acting like your friend, smiling in your face were only pretending because they wanted something from you. People are such assholes.
I don't believe in karma though. I just know from life experiences that eventually everyone goes through hard times whether they deserved it or not so eventually those people who have hurt or wronged you will suffer hard times.
And yet being a good person, you still don't want them to have hard times. It's awful. People can take the life force right out of you. And yes, people can be assholes that's for sure.

I think I am getting tougher now. I had an argument over text with a "friend" of mine today and I didn't take any crap! So yeah, I'm glad for both of us that we are getting tougher. My mom always says "Don't let anyone take your power away, or give them power by hurting you". It hard to do sometimes but I think its good advice.
I didn't go to my reunion either. Bah.
I have the same issue. No matter where I go, I encounter the same thing: construction workers, gamers, people asking for directions or a cigarette from me, people from the UK, Florida California or Dallas, somebody talking about poop, physics or homeless people.
I wish they would all just disappear forever.
I believe I was Superman in my other life b/c I often dream I can fly.
sharePretty much. I'd say for me life feels very cyclical. The lows are the same and the highs are the same. And there are a lot more lows than highs. And the in-between moments are filled with the exact same mundane events on repeat. And it goes round and round in a kind of cycle.
