On this anniversary of 9/11, let's discuss the TRUTH of what happened

Just kidding! Ha, yes I'm a joker, don't take this seriously. fedsletithappen

You should know by now that when I post what looks like an inflammatory topic, I'm just being a goof. governmentcurtailedourfreedoms

I mean seriously, isn't it about time we just let history be history? holywaragainstislam

Revisiting this topic over and over would just let the terrorists win, ya know? theyalreadydid

(Major bonus points to whoever gets the reference I'm emulating)

reply

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.

reply

how do you think steel is made ??

reply

no, but it's good for taking off rust, what's your point?

reply

Well no, but burning jet fuel can.

reply

Well like the report says, the fuel only needed to soften the steel. freefallmeansdemolition

reply

exactly

reply

Ditto to Frog! S/he nailed it! I got the emulation so do I rcv extra points?

Edit:I goofed; I didn't get it!

reply

Nope not yet have to name who I'm emulating/referencing and what it's from... It's a tricky one for anyone under 40.

reply

Would it be perhaps George Carlin?

reply

Not George Carlin, but kinda close... this guy was on a very popular tv show. I was only emulating his style of one of his skits with those "subliminal" messages after my sentences. The 9/11 content is unrelated to him.

reply

Mr. Subliminal.

reply

Bingo, Kevin Nealon's best skit. Did my clue give it away?

reply

Yes, 80s SNL and "subliminal" message. My first guess was actually also George Carlin.

reply

Wouldn't be another poster here, would it? Either that, or a certain comedian's delivery whose name I simply cannot think of

reply

It's a comedian who was big on a popular tv show in the 80s... a show that still airs today.

reply

If the show was SNL I lose because I didn't watch it much. I definitely don't watch it now. It went from being comedic to political.

reply

It was SNL. I will see if naps gets it, if not I'll let you two know what it's from.

reply

Nope; at a loss, sorry. I can picture the comedian, but cannot think of the name
