Was he expected to have sex with the dog? If so, what was the dog's gender? Or was the expectation that he and a female partner would have intercourse on top of the dog? If so, how big was the dog? Was Robert afraid that he/they might fall off? I think there's a potential movie deal in all this. "Based on a true story."

reply

If he refused to have sex with a male dog that's just homophobic and I'm outraged by this refusal. LOL.

reply

Wow, can't believe that, on reading the article, that both the director and dog handler were ok with the character - and the fact that they wanted the actor to actually do it - to perform a sex act on a dog. It may be related to the story but to actually portray it is in very poor taste and is also surely animal abuse and zoophilia. Disgusting!

reply

Obviously as PETA says its all about money. I'm sure the handler always just goes along with what the directors say. But if he cared about his animals he would have said no.
I wonder who the director is..

reply

I can't believe this is actually real and is definitely not something people would want to see. I totally can't believe that the director would want him to do this for real, but damn Hollywood can be sick sometimes in its pursuit for realism. This is definitely animal abuse and thank goodness he didn't do it. I would say he was just saying this on the talk show circuit but I don't really think that promotes good publicity for the film. Its not like the dog could have a say in what was going on so um..yeah. Ew, just ew.

reply

Yeah... quite not believable actually, sounded too much like a forced controversy for creating a marketing buzz of the movie. Knowing Hollywood, if they really want to make such scene obviously they would use CGI. Nowadays, CGI is already used for everything anyway.

reply

Yes, this is kind of what I was mentioning but what bad marketing, because Ew! I guess we are talking about it though and that's likely the point.

reply

Dynoooomiiiiiite!

reply

He might have refused to do it but a fake one was still used in filming (which was left on the cutting room floor anyway).

He should have just refused to have anything to do with any of it in the first place. What's next? Having a fake child raped for a movie (but it's ok if it isn't a real child)?

reply

A Serbian Film, anyone?

reply

Forgot it had already been done. :(

I was meaning well-known actors and Hollywood films.

reply

Didn't he already have several sex scenes with a dog in the Twilight films?

<< "The story I told on Jimmy Kimmel [on Thursday] seems to have spiraled out of control,” Pattinson said in a statement to People. "What didn’t come across is that this was supposed to be a joke. No one at all expected or assumed that anything like that would happen on the Good Time set. We are all huge animal lovers and would obviously never do anything to harm an animal." >>
