Rowling apologizes after tweets saying Trump ignored disabled boy
Her Twitter takedowns are the stuff of legend. Good on her for owning up to a mistake, something the Cheeto in Chief is seemingly incapable of doing.
shareYes very gracious.
She didn't apologise to Trump though - only to the family of the boy.
shareAs is warranted.
shareSorry, I don't agree. It doesn't matter if you like the person or not. If you publicly say something about a person that wasn't true and then find out what really happened, then at least have the decency to own up and apologise to the person you wronged.
She didn't say bad things about the family but she apologised to them and not Trump, who was the one she had been slagging off. That would have been the decent thing to do.
God, this woman is so dumb and annoying.
shareShe has yet to take in one Syrian refugee, though she criticizes the US for not taking enough. Stupid hypocrite.
shareShe only created one of the greatest fantasy series since Tolkien. Yeah, real dumb.
shareYes, I think Harry Potter is real dumb. It's also a rip-off of other books and there's plenty to suggest she didn't write it herself. But that's beside the point. That you think her books are great says nothing about Rowling's intelligence, level of understanding or any other cognitive skills. Her tweets show that she's a dumb woman in many different ways.
shareHer tweets show a witty woman of intelligence and class.
shareSure, if you think Harry Potter is great...Otherwise they show she's dumb, immature, pathetic, annoying and hypocritical.
But if she's all that you say she is, then no reason to apologize, right?
An intelligent person can admit when they've made a mistake and offer apologies where necessary. It's called integrity.
shareAn intelligent person wouldn't have made such a mistake in the first place. But honey, what's the point of responding to me? You really think I'm going to change my mind just because you say she's great? I think she's a despicable and dumb person. If you think it's so wonderful what she did, then just respond directly to the article. It's pointless telling me that. I prefer not to waste too much time on this woman.
share"An intelligent person wouldn't have made such a mistake in the first place"
Since el trumpo makes far more idiotic mistakes on an almost daily basis, your comment says it all.
Is this article about any mistakes made by Trump? No, so that says more than enough about you...
shareShe just ripped off Ender's Game and replaced future tech with magic.
