It would be well deserved, though it's not my personal pick so far. Odds are that it won't happen though, if The Dark Knight couldn't even get nominated above Slumdog Millionaire (which I did love, but TDK was better than any of the films nominated that year), I wouldn't place any bets on WW.

It has no chance. A superhero movie will never win best picture and Wonder Woman won't even get nominated.

It could get nominated. Many voters only vote their politics, often without even seeing the movies they vote for.

I doubt it. There will be much better movies later in the year. Maybe a nomination for CGI or something like that.
