This is easy for me and some people think I am crazy but I have never watched one second of any Star Wars movie ( and never will). It is over hyped and overrated. One big sci-fi soap opera and I wish it was put out of its misery.
Animated franchises. Never seen and have no interest in seeing the Despicable Me movies, Cars, Madagascar, How to train your dragon, Kung Fu panda, Rio, Frozen
It's really hard to find a franchise you've never seen some parts of because they're so big and everywhere on the internet. Also, if you say you don't like certain franchises (or francheeses? franchi? lol), people verbally crucify you and you lose credibility among certain groups. But hey, let's do it.
Star Wars is definitely one where I'm not a fan of what I have seen and could never get into it. Transformers as well. The Marvel Cinematic Universe I really don't like excepting maybe one or two Xmen movies and Daredevil the tv show - if that counts. And...The Godfather (hides from all the soon-to-be murderers) - really doesn't do it for me. I know people love it, but I don't get it.
I thought the first Star Wars movie was okay. Not bad, not great. Nothing that warranted the enormous amount of hype surrounding it. Yet I thoroughly enjoyed the second, The Empire Strikes Back. The third was just bad.
Never have seen either Transformers or Xmen, but I'm with you on The Godfather. It was good, but I don't get all the accolades it and its sequels have had heaped on them. β¦ We may need a good bunker to hide in after these postings ;)
I keep telling myself to give all these a chance because of the hype, but I just don't like what I don't like. Hopefully people can respect that. Otherwise, I'll take you up on that bunker offer.
American Pie. I have so many people whose opinions on movies I don't respect say: "oh my God, you've haven't seen American Pie?" Teen-centric, gross out humour is not something I consider top-shelf comedy.
