This is a cute idea. It reminded me of a teacher who took yearly picture in the same pose and the same outfit since 1974. https://www.buzzfeed.com/ashleyperez/this-teacher-wore-the-same-exact-outfit-in-his-yearbook-phot?utm_term=.jqKjOvJDdW#.bwJeOYnK8P

I noticed the style of his glasses over the years. The last one circled back to a style very similar to the first one.

Over about 25 years I took a photo of my children on the first day of school - every year in the same spot, standing outside in front of our house. We took one final photo in the same spot when I finally sold the family home four years ago.

I never really paid attention to his glasses. My god, he liked to wear some huge glasses, didn't he?

Your idea of photographing your kids at the same spot is also cute. I presume more people are doing a similar thing than we thought.

This is news? Lol

reply

Maybe it isn't news but it certainly is something nice to see considering everything we see on the news lately!
It is a pleasant change and a great idea!

reply

No it isn't.

Whatever you say.....
I disagree. You have some sort of a problem with that?
Last time I checked, we were allowed to disagree with each other.
You don't think it's news? Not a great idea? Ok by me.....
I enjoy seeing these things.

reply

I agree. It may not be blood and guts news but I like it.

I'm also not sure why it's listed at all because there is no celebrity/actor/director etc relation. But I still liked it enough to comment on it. It's pretty cool. Just is strange why it's listed here though...

Not a bad idea for a movie πŸ€”

I'm guessing this is what is called a human interest story.

reply

Exactly! Apparently the term "human interest story" has fallen into obscurity. I see plenty of comments all over the internet from people saying, "this isn't news!"

reply

I enjoy them. I like seeing something positive.
