My post count just hit 2733.
Don't hate me because I'm prolific.

I am going to start grading you on how many people have hit the individual message boards, while you have have been upping your post count.

Lighten up, arvin.

By my calculations the movieman averages 900 to 1000 posts a month. By this time next year he should be over 12,000 posts.
shareI don't hate you at all but do you really need two separate threads about your post count?
It's kind of looking like you are more focused on just making that number go up by any means necessary than focused on the content of what you are posting.
Not completely though, because I've had some good discussions with you on different tv show boards.
But maybe just chill out on the post count fixation. it's not a race and there is not even a leaderboard.
It really gets to be this boring unless you have good debates or you number crunch. This is why off tangent threads, like mine, at least stimulate conversation.
You can have three types of conversations:
1.) Threads About movies/tv series. It gets boring after a while and you go to threads that have nothing to do with it.
Which leads to ----->
2.) Threads About Making Games Out of Posts. Shows boredom stemming from not being able to talk about all things in 1.
Which leads to ---->
3.) Threads talking about survival and number crunching for mental stimulation. Trying to number crunch the necessities in life.
I would say my threads are pretty darn productive. They have a history of getting many responses.
Well fine, two of them are over 100 now.
You know I was talking to I was talking to MovieMan, right?
shareYeah and your post was written days ago; however, while I saw this post being bumped, I thought I would put down my thoughts.
Here is proof that this thread leads to the third point:

When there is very little to nothing to write about, movie/tv show related; our minds go towards pointless number crunching.
:-)
I'm actually not trying to up my post count, I just love to post.
:-)
movieman has been missing for 2 days, i am getting worried...
share2 days is not long, maybe he took a weekend getaway. It's getting close to summer now (for half the world anyway) and people often spend more time the outdoors doing meatspace stuff, and less time online.

Thanks, but fear not. I'm alive and well storm chasing in tornado alley. I will return on June 1.
:-)
Thanks. Storm chasing in tornado alley. Be back June 1.
:-)
7 days mia?
shareI was just thinking that yesterday. He should have been at well over 3,000 posts by now.
Come back dude! Those sunglasses emojis aren't going to post themselves.
Currently storm chasing in tornado alley. Back June 1.
:-)
Nice! Oh, and when you finally catch storm pls tell her to ditch the mohawk. Thanks.

Ah now I understand. Thanks.
BTW, did you watch Legion?
:-)
The movie or the series?

Eight part TV series on FX. It's one of my top 10 favorite series of all time.
It also contains the single most amazing scene (the Bolero scene) I've ever seen on TV.
:-)
No. I don't watch TV series anymore. They don't keep my interest.

My interest has been revived recently by excellent mini series such as Legion, Fargo, and Better Call Saul. I also hear that Preacher was very good, and if you liked MST3K, it's been revived on Netflix.
I've also discovered some excellent series from the mid 2000's such as Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, and Wonderfalls. These are all by Bryan Fuller.
:-)
Hey you broke 3,000, congrats! Since 3,000 hits automatically gets you into the Baseball Hall of Fame, I think you should be the first inductee to the MovieChat HOF.

Memorex has 3000 as well although he spams the boards to get his post count up.

Then congrats to him as well. I don't recall seeing him recently; the last time I noticed him I think he only had low 2000s. I do remember that he had a great signature.
By the way, congrats to you on your promotion from Admiral to President. Well deserved! They tried to trap you at the Battle of Endor, but you immediately saw the ruse and fought your way out.
