For me, it's probably Katherine Cassavetes (John's mom)... Part of it is what's written, but she's a natural, is constantly angry and funny.

Charlie Chaplin is my #1 funniest character ever.

Rowan Atkinson as Mr.Bean.

Stephen Chow in every movie he's in.

Also Jim Carey as Ace Ventura.

Mort Sahl is the funniest person ever, but not the funniest in the 10 movies he's made, though he was usually given carte-blanche to write a lot of his own material, some which came directly from his stand-up.
