I went to the shooting range with my dad today.
It was an indoor range to a gun store. There were lots of rifles, shot guns, revolvers and Glocks on display but no machine guns. For eye protection I brought goggles and for ear protection I just used soft insert able plugs. We shot his Colt 1911 which carries .45 acp ammunition using aluminum shell casings. He's good with aiming though I still have a problem with shooting bullet holes AROUND the intended area I'm trying to hit. Afterwards I asked the salesman to see a Glock 34 and he handed me one that was a gen 3 since gen 4's are not allowed in the state of California. Dad told me that the gun was too big and that his Glock which he has kept in a safe deposit box is better, since it's a Glock 26. He said a Glock 26 can fit in your pocket but is still capable of firing 10 9mm bullets.
