What is your greatest fear?
Mine is being put on ignore by the entire internet, and never being able to talk to anyone ever again.

Death. It's like so permanent.
😎
Don't fear death, embrase it,death is only a step to the next phase of existance😉
shareEither fear it's self or that i won't live long enough to see all the films I want to see!
shareTo the average human, I would think these four things would be at the top of the list and then of course, one's own phobias.
1.) Death
2.) Loss of a family member or loved one
3.) Job loss
4.) Divorce
Not being able to ever read The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring due to George R R Martin's critical age.
shareSo scary, and at the pace he is going, I have little hope.
The terror!
Honestly, I am definitely afraid about that, but I wouldn't call it my greatest fear. My worst fears are losing family and failure in general.
Rollercoasters. You can offer me million pound's to ride it and I wont be able to do it.
shareI don't like roller coasters either, but my little brother loves them, so I always get dragged to the parks. I usually end up sitting on a bench and reading while they're going on the thrilling rides. I can go on some rides, like the big swings and sky rides, but nothing very fast.
shareI'm worried about that too. Supposedly The Winds of Winter is almost done, though. And he at least has the basic outlines down and is just filling it in. Hopefully the two books will be released in close succession. He did say The Winds of Winter might be out this year.
shareYeah, a pleasant surprise to all of his fans would be to have been writing A Dream of Spring in parallel with the Winds of Winter, and release both books relatively close together. I can dream, and I can hope!
shareI'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. He's not very good at sticking to deadlines. 😬
It would be nice for it to be published soon, but you can't rush art.
Oh, I agree. I've actually said that to people who are like mad at him for not having published the next book yet. I mean, writing is hard. And no doubt it gets tiring writing the same story for 20+ years, and trying to maintain the quality people expect. People shouldn't act like Martin owes them. I'd rather get the full Game of Thrones experience later than get an inferior product earlier because he was forced to rush it by pressure from fans.
Still, I do worry. The man isn't getting any younger, and he's not exactly in the best of health.
frostbite. always worry about it even though i live in san diego.
shareThat is scary.
shareI was born and raised in California and I think I have conquered the fear of cold. Come to Kentucky. Before I came here, I lived in a city that never went less than 55 degrees Fahrenheit and more than 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
shareWell, the lowest temperature that i've indured last winter was -35 celsius😉
shareWOW 55 to 85 f! That's awesome!
I live in Edmonton, Alberta. One of the coldest cities on Earth! I'm jealous! A few years back I worked in MINUS 58 F for 12 hours outside doing snow removal at the airport and only went inside once for about 10 minutes that night. Of course that was a record breaking cold that night. Second coldest city on Earth that night.
