Moonlanding: Real or Hoax?

The race to space was started to see who could get a ballistic missile into space first. The importance of that was simple. If the U.S. was able to get an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into space, and drift in low Earth orbit, then they can arm it with a nuclear warhead and be able to shoot a nuclear missile anywhere in the world, from anywhere in the world. Scary stuff, right? Only, Russia beat the U.S. to space with Sputnik. So, what was the State's reaction, moving the goal post. "Yeah, well, we can get to the moon before you fuckers!"

"What tactical advantage does the moon have?" Asked Russia.

Thinking, very hard and very long, the U.S. came up with an answer. "We can put a laser on the moon and use it to shoot your country!"

"Holy shit, we proud sons of Mother Russia cannot allow you Capitalist pigs to be able to set up military bases on the moon!"

And the race began. JFK announced we will be on the moon, for whatever reason, but he kind of played it off as some technical achievement for mankind. Maybe they actually thought they could install a laser on the moon. Who knows, James Kirk was too busy fucking hot green women to really care whether or not that was possible, feasible, tactically sound, and even worth using as an excuse to fuck hot moon bunnies.

Eventually, the U.S. got to the moon, beat the Russians, waved their big fingers at Russia and chanted, "neener, neener, neeeeeeeeeener......we beat you to the meeeeeeener......" And the big hand of patriotism waved as soldiers were being burned alive in the rice patties of some south Asian country.

And then..........nothing.

No more moon exploration. No military base or laser installation. Nothing. It's as if we all lost interest and moved on to other things. Like, burning bras, and doing cocaine. I mean, not bad choices, but different. You know. And we never talked about the moon again.

So was it real? I mean, how could we spend so much money to get to the moon, just to beat the Russians? It doesn't make any sense. It's like, I'm going to blow my wad on this peep show, then have nothing left in reserve for that hot hooker I already paid for and is waiting in my hotel room. Does any of that make any sense? NO! So what's the deal?

The only real explanation. We realized that there is no way we could get to the moon, so we faked it, just to stick it to the Ruskies. And then, pretended that it wasn't interesting anymore, so the Ruskies wouldn't pursue the laser on the moon strategy and the whole thing would get dropped. That's the only explanation for it.

Anyone disagree? If so, then you're a sheep who drank the American Kool Aide!

Not even close. Over 10000 people worked on the Apollo Moon projects, including several other countries. Keeping a secret that big would be impossible. Also, there was six manned moon landings in total. So, were supposed to believe they were all faked? Or just the one from 1969?

Really? There are people that still think this didn't happen?

Just out of curiosity, a massive, EXTREMELY loud Saturn V rockets blasted into space, days later the guys came back to Earth. If it didn't happen, are you speculating they filmed it all before hand, then the guys went into space and just orbited the Earth until it was time to come home and then the government played the pre-recorded recording? All the astronauts were in on it and kept it a secret for 40 years?

What did this Saturn V rocket do during this week? It launched, thousands of people saw it IN PERSON at the launch site, so what is the theory there?

What are people's thoughts on the (fake) shots of Earth through the round windows on Apollo 11?
They say in the footage that the camera is against the glass but later on its revealed that the camera is actually at the back of the cabin and what we see is not Earth at a distance it is actually just the Earths light through the round window as the craft is still in orbit. The timestamp shown the footage they should've been half way there, not in orbit around Earth.
Why fake the shot at all?

Here's me theory on things. I've studied this issue for years in my spare time. Of all the studying and the documentaries arguing both sides, I believe we did go at least once, but that many photos or videos were faked. I recall Edgar Mitchell in a speech sounding very scared and saying he saw UFOs on the moon. You can find his speech on youtube if you just type in "edgar mitchell moon ufo." So I think there is a mixture. Some truths and some fake stuff. I do believe a few of the missions were complete fakes, but not all.

Well I know this much, I've watched many documentaries arguing both sides of this issue. I've probably spent dozens and dozens of hours researching on my own on top of that over the years. I cannot reach a conclusion, but after hearing Edgar Mitchell talk about the UFOs he saw on the moon, I suspect that we actually did go there, but we are "afraid" to go back. I'm not sure. That's another theory in itself.

I really would like to say we went, and I think we did, BUT I think some of the Apollo missions were faked just to keep the "discovery going." I do think we went at least once or twice. The evidence for it is overwhelming, and the evidence against SOME of the missions being faked is also overwhelming. I say we went, but we also faked a few or at the very least.... we faked some photos and videos and mixed them in.

LRO shows the tracks and lunar site with a shitty camera only meant for viewing caters. If a camera like that can view the evidence, that shows how easy it is to prove.

The short answer would be real.
