shareI do not mind putting it on that forum as well! But it could make a General Discussion topic also so I will leave it here too.
shareWell if you want to do that it's fine, the more the merrier for your considerations I would suppose.
Now, my Genesis is a bit rusty but from memory Elohim started with the heavens and the earth, two plains. They then brought light to counter the formless darkness, light was apparently good. Next up was water and it being separated between the low and the high. The water was then to be collected into areas which allowed for land to exist. Plants and trees came next (Which is odd because both require the next step to exist according) and they were doing well. The sun, moon and stars were next which was just as well because all that poor vegetation was wondering how it was going to photosynthesis without any electromagnetic radiation to help with the process. Elohim then made all the fish and the birds and told them to go forth and multiply (Or go and fuck themselves as we say here) and that went well for them. Animals and mankind was next on their list and that's where we come in a copy of their image.
Now the article you are referring to I believe is talking about the likelihood of easily formed atoms and how they would bond with other easily formed atoms into molecules. With Hydrogen, Helium, Carbon and Oxygen being the 4 most prominent elements in existence throughout our universe it is true that there would have been two hydrogen atoms sharing electron clouds with an oxygen atom in the molecular state we call water almost as soon as the universe was cool enough to allow it.
I'm not sure of the correlation here but please, feel free to educate me upon it Bertie.
This makes you think ,aren't You?
Do we really know everything about us and the planet we live on? i don't think so

shareSeeing as Genesis was probably rewritten multiple times, at some point, they had to write it to reflect real world theory. This is why it agrees, not because Genesis came first.
I have asked many people upfront if religions are allowed to be updated and many people say "Yeah, it can, to reflect the times." Wrong answer. Religions should always hold onto the foundation they once started out as and that is why religion, in general, is hypocritical.
No way, Arvin! The original Heberew has water before the sun as well.
shareqbible.com/hebrew-old-testament/genesis/1.html shows water before sun in an early Masoretic text translation.
shareWho cares? LOL.
