There are trolls here! No doubt about it! The paranoia here though is a bit scary. I hope that the mods aren't going to go off the deep end!
I honestly have no idea of who is a troll here and who isn't!
I use to be able to spot them on the old site. I can only spot one or two here.
Now we have an ignore feature...... YAY!
I never use to use that thing in the past. I doubt I will use it in the future because I like to see what EVERYONE is posting. I was in favor of it though....
People who actually use it won't be bothered any longer.... RIGHT????
I do hate it though, when someone uses the ignore feature and STILL talks about that person. I hope there aren't any of those types here.
Now that there is an IGNORE feature here could we please start talking movies and tv and dispense with all of this paranoia?
I like this site. I'm not wild about trolls but I will put up with the more interesting ones. So far, I haven't found any of interest......
I LOOOOOOOOVE 12 Monkeys and Minority Report. That time travel paradox really screws with the brain!!!! But those two particular movies are awesome. Great casts and extremely well written. Can watch them over and over. π
You say you like time travel?
I love the mini series of 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I read the book which is far better but I have the mini series and I enjoy that too.
Another time travel story I enjoy is Somewhere in Time starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seamore.
I really love Somewhere in Time. Chris was so amazing. Such a tragedy how we lost him. π’π’π’π’
And the movie is so heartbreaking...
I haven't watched King's show or read the book yet. I don't watch much television. And since getting horribly addicted to the internet, I don't read books much anymore either. But will occasionally listen to a King audio book.
I love horror, classic films from the 40's to the 80;s,
I love old tv shows.
I'm all over the place.....
Some of my faves are The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Hour/Presents, Perry Mason, Columbo.....
Comedies include Frasier, Barney Miller, Cheers, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver.....
Like I say, I'm all over the place.
Oh well. It seems like our interests don't line up much. Sorry!
The oldest movies I've seen are the Disney classics, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. π
All is good. We all have our favorite entertainment.
I enjoyed the very first Star Wars. I never got into the rest of them. I like a few of the old Disney classics like Pinocchio and Snow White.
I'm just happy to have a board where we can all come to discuss.
I'll see you around, Leia.
Love Star Wars!!!! When I was young, I was so in love will Luke. I found him so attractive. But as I got older, I started to find Han more attractive. I mean, I'll gladly take both, but Harrison at that age is more my style now. ππππ
I thought they were both ugly, to be perfectly honest. XD
I still love Star Wars, though. I recently started watching the Clone Wars... not sure if I'll finish it, though. More a question of time than interest. XD
You think they're ugly because you are only 20 and am used to how males of today look. When you get older you will see the beauty more in men of different eras. π
lol, maybe. I never actually went through the odd phase of crushing on celebrities. My mom thought I had a crush on Steve Irwin, though, because I loved watching the Crocodile Hunter show, but I just liked seeing all the animals. π
Assuming you mean Irwin's death? Yeah. That was pretty tragic. πͺ
Almost darkly funny, in a way. He wrestled crocodiles all the time, but was brought down by a sting ray ( or was it a jellyfish?).
OMG, I was thinking the same thing. More movie musings less troll talk. Speaking of which, I saw The Sense of an Ending this weekend and thought it was very good. I'm older so, after awhile the special effect fare, like me gets a little old. This film told a story and featured compelling dialog. Bravo...
