Time change on Sunday, March 12th..

with an hour lost will have me discombobulated for about a week. Does it affect you as much as me? If you work, does it affect you at all? I think in the spring it's not so bad, except years ago one time I showed up for work an hour early and wondered where everyone was.

" it getting dark at 16:30 only exacerbates that." Yeah, I get it, and it makes for a longgg night to me.

On a personal note, I don't really have a reason I can state clearly, but never in my whole life have I liked the hour between 1600 and 1700.

I hate hate HATE this Spring one. It's fun to have an extra hour on Halloween (in case you go to a party...and/or are trick-or-treating) (?) but I'm NOT a morning person, and LOATH losing 5 minutes of sleep...let alone a WHOLE HOUR!!!

Luckily I was a lazy sh!t all this weekend and slept in a lot....so hopefully it won't all be TOO shattering tomorrow.

But, no promises. I might have a ton of incessant winging to do....

Cookie, I was a night owl, then got a job specifically to work the night shift because no one wanted to work that shift. After several years I realized the world doesn't revolve around those needing their sleep during the day and decided a change was due. So I did a 180, changed careers where mornings were vital, and didn't look back. Now that I'm retired the seasons have alot to do with my sleeping habits. I have periods of insomnia though.

My first job in high school was at 6:00 am on the weekends, and I swore NEVER AGAIN. For the past decade I haven't had to be at work till 10:00 in the morning...unless I was lucky enough to have the rare job on a TV show or film....when your call time can be 6:00 or 7:00 am...and on those days I would be practically vomiting out my car window in tears on the way there, sighing "LIVIN' THE DREAM!!!"
