IMDB JUST WENT DOWN

I was reading comments on the Black List board and then all the sudden all I was getting was 404 errors. This was at 1:45 A.M Friday. Hopefully a lot of people come over here.

I think it's the webcrawlers/bots trying to archive the posts. Col mentions it in one of his forum posts that the errors we are seeing are a "sign" of the age of the boards, but really it's because folks are ignoring the robots.txt files in order to preserve the data he has promised to not preserve. Long live the internet! lol

Not quite. I just posted there not more than ten minutes ago. BTW, I was a major poster on IMDb boards for a few Stephen King films and series. There are also efforts underway to take up the slack on other fronts as well.

Hope this clarifies the matter a bit.

Damn---I was just about to get all my stuff off IMDB and I just now found out that all the damn boards are gone. They said Feb 20---it's still Feb. 19th--what the hell was the damn rush? I was trying to get some posts I'd just posted the other day. I mean, seriously, they couldn't have waited until tomorrow? They'll regret this.

I'm still like, "What the hell? Where are all the boards? Damn!" They got rid of the boards quicker than they did some of those trolls on here!
