shareI'd never heard of them until your post, so I looked them up. They go back to the 1960s and 70s, I see. Perhaps they were never shown in the US so American posters here probably wouldn't have any knowledge of them.

You know of Carry On films? I had envisaged that they would have been as popular in the US as in my country and in the UK.
No, I had not heard of them before. Will have to check it out. 32 films spanning five decades is just an unbelievable body of work. Can you recommend a couple for a newbie to start with?
You also might want to post a thread on General Discussion for this because that is the most frequently visited board. Sad to say our favorite Brit, Dazed, rarely posts anymore. But I know MC gets visitors from all over the world, so you may get some responses from other Carry On fans.
