Give me a feel good song, a funny song or one that makes you smile.
Listen if you haven't heard it. Let's discover some new music.
Next person listen, rate it and give your song.
This is a song for whatever reason makes me smile.
Where did you find this ? This could work for cheesy love songs too.
This was hysterical. "hand and hand we'll conquer space."
That little dance thing they did while they were walking.
Too funny.
My dad used to have it on cassette. I've recently rediscovered it and the video. I love it!
"- They should hold something when they walk.
- Oooh, flashlights!!!?" Brilliant
Pretty much all I know about Willie Nelson is that he smokes weed lol, so I appreciate that song.
Mina you are the queen of this genre.
A disco song about Rasputin. Are you fucking kidding me.
I was young during this time and not into the whole disco thing but I've never heard of this before.
This was great.
Well this clueless American did some research. The highest charted song was Rivers of Babylon.
It made it to 30. Doesn't quite cut it does it ? If this was the best they could do then I'm glad
I "missed out".
I'm sure The Ramones, Billy Joel, Bowie, Led Zepplin, The Sex Pistols, Clapton, Steely Dan, The Eagles,
Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Rush, Van Halen, Neil Young, The Police, Iggy and the Stooges, Tom Petty,
The Clash, James Gang, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gordon Lightfoot, Pind Floyd, even Kenny Rogers and all the others forgive you. You know the artists with the actual talent. Many of them clueless Americans.
Now that you're quoting Wikipedia I'm actually scared and a little worried. -Edit-
They're in the same company as Bieber, Jay Z, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne and the Backdoor Boys. Well done.
Having said all of this, this clueless American has one more thing to say
"Without music, life would be a mistake."
Over here. They made it to #30 and sold 3 copies total in the states.
Rasputin is fair but your little group never sang a song about a piano man or a hotel in California.
Not to mention a song about Tom Sawyer. So there is that.
The world doesn't stop at the US border. But it does appear that we do like our weird "novelty" acts more over here.
Fair enough. But there is no song about Tom Sawyer. There is however a song about Tom Soy /catch the mist, catch the myth, catch the mystery, catch the drift/
I love Willie.. I would never smoke weed with him either. Imagine how strong that sh*t would be with the tolerance he would have after all these years? LOL
Dazed, was it you that mentioned The Name Game from AHS? I played that scene again when I was re watching some of it and now that song often gets stuck in my head... "The Name Game". Not sure if its annoying or a good fun song. The scene certainly is fun. :D
Yeah, I think it must have been you. When I first got here. :) I love it too, especially when the others join in and start dancing. Yeah it was kind of a shock to see it in there because as you said it is such a contrast. One of my fave scenes too. I was driving people nuts with that song after I re watched it, but don't tell anyone that. haha
I didn't even start the new series. Not even the premiere. I'm kind of weary that I won't like it, and I don't want there to be 2 seasons in a row that I don't like....
How did you find the first episode? I'll binge what's out one of these days.
Sky the tv channel you mean?
We just got Prime here in Canada and I would like to try it. i love having many options to watch tv. You do mean Amazon Prime right?
Never saw that film before. Saves the World?
Makes me think of Handmaid's Tale, which I'm dying to watch. I used to have Amazon Prime, but of course that was before they offered the streaming service in Canada. I think its 79$ a year or something like that? I wonder do they do the same like Netflix and offer different content depending on where you live.
You like the firestick? I've heard of it, never tried. I've had a Boxee Box and a Roku though.
Don't you love a nice bit of tautology, though? They even cencored Bitch in the title. It's all kinds of wonderful.
As to the song, while it would be flattering to be called a crazy bitch by a skeezy guy in a toilet, I think I might have enjoyed this more if I was a daytime stripper.
I guess you're right. XXX has different meanings and levels for different people.
Some of the videos had bitch "bleeped" out but showed it in the title.
So you can see it you just can't hear it. I love our society.
Didn't even rank high enough for a nighttime stripper. Wow.
Unless you're a nighttime stripper in hopes of becoming a daytime stripper?
If this is the case then I apologize to you and those in your profession for offending.
It wasn't intentional.
You should know by now. I'm old. I'm confused. Where do I live?
I don't know how those batteries got in my pocket.
Welders are a great profession. I weld. I suck.
Maybe you could teach me how to weld.
Maybe you could even teach me how to pole dance. A classy pole dancer obviously.
As soon as I learn how to weld, I'm of to America to teach you as well.
All I can offer right now is how to unclog a sink drain in the most roundabout way possible. Maybe my stripper name should be Pipe Micucci. And you could be Welder Goodman. Those are classy names, right?
Well, in this particular song they're telling the listener to jump up and down. Perhaps it's also interesting to know their name means something like little trollops.
Well, there are some additional, "funny" lyrics about partying off your pantyhose, destroying the laminate floor and throwing your moped in the canal. It's all very non-sensical, but that's pretty much the point. And he gives instructions on how to jump up and down, which is always handy.
Honestly, I hadn't heard of that variation of the word either, apparently it's dialect.
Knew it was going to be this when I saw it said a medley. You should have saw the dance we made up to Stars on 45, I still know it. Too funny. Yes, I loved this sooo much. Thanks for posting. :D
I actually taught the dance to my little niece, cause I'm that much fun. But didn't put it to the Stars on 45 music. Pretty much works with anything. haha
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Home
Seems so sweet to me. They seem like they really do love each other, and I do believe that Home is the one you love. Awww.. I'm getting all sappy. ;)
I should have added a note this is not meant to offend any crazy bitches that may come across this post.
"I do believe that Home is the one you love."
EWWWWW. Come on Daisy. You trying to make me cry again ?
Can I have some pancakes with all that sappy syrup.
I was feeling very in love that morning I remember. I'm not today. haha
I agree to the EW! :D I've since been reminded love gets you no where. Yes, perhaps I missed the meaning of the post. For funny there is only one that comes to mind that I like but its so offensive, it surprises me that it doesn't offend me. haha
Its by Mad Child and I'm sure people will be offended and think differently of me for not being too offended. haha. Let's say.. vulgar.
I'm sure you want a link, but um.. maybe you can find it. Its rap.
It is pretty offensive.. but I knew a bunch of people that liked it that were younger than me and kept playing it, and it kinda got stuck in my head. I know its wrong. lol
I do like you and you are definitely crazy.
I haven't seen Daisy the bitch so I'm reserving judgement for now.
I just can't picture that scenario in my head.
Although you were banned. So maybe the writings on the wall.
A bitch, never! haha. I forgot to delete Tapatalk off my phone from that other site and keep getting inbox messages. They should just delete people if they are going to ban them....just my thoughts. ;)
I can even sing along. We sang it at 40 below drinking outside as teens. haha. Or something like that, but all my friends knew it. What a cool bunch we were. I don't know if I've ever heard a "real" version of it come to think of it or we just learned it off each other. We had drinks and sang a lot when I was a teen. Good times.
I'm so offended! haha... actually just mad at myself I couldn't remember the next line ;)
That could have looked bad for you saying that if no one knew that song! haha
It seems they've been active since 2013, but they're not exactly mainstream. No doubt most of those views come from youngsters who've been drinking too much on a Saturday night.
Yes, put on Barry's greatest hits album and I'm in!;)
I just ordered it. I was worried about what to wear to lunch next Friday.
Not anymore.
In case you still don't recognize me I'll be wearing a white sport coat
and a pink carnation.
I LOVE the song Downtown, and it makes me think of one of my fave movies too. "Girl Interrupted"
I also love Cyndi Lauper.. especially When you were mine, and Money Changes Everything. Such good stuff. I loved that album when I was a kid. :)
