Evolution contradicts the creation account of Genesis so doesn't that shows that the God of the bible couldn't have been the creator since his creation account does not match with reality? With how evolution has been proven the account in Genesis of the creation and fall of man is suspect and with it so is the whole act of redemption by Christ.
shareJust because two things conflict, it doesn't make either one inherently true. Every person has a worldview, that is used to filter how they perceive the world. When it all comes down to the root of the issue, there's basically two camps: those who allow for the possibility of the supernatural, and others who've already decided to reject it regardless of anything else. People in the latter category are the most stubborn, because no matter how much evidence is presented to them, they refuse to accept it because doing so interferes with their pre-formed assumptions.
