I asked this before but it was on my old account & that account got deleted. Is it really worth it? I replaced all my vhs tapes with DVDs & most of my DVDs with blu rays. I don't want to go through this again. I'm personally satisfied with my blu rays so I don't feel the need to replace them.
shareEven on a 27" CRT from the early 90's using S-Video, bluray looked much better to me than DVD. I got my first BR player (a PS3) a year before I got an HDTV, and even in that year the difference was so noticeable that I stopped buying DVD's then (other than when the DVD comes with the BR, or BR wasn't available).
