DOC MARTIN
Quirky, but once you get used to it (and him) great fun (with some serious undertones) - terrific cast.

Hear, hear! I couldn't have said it better myself.
I started watching it and enjoyed the small town, quirky characters and the out of place doctor. But as I watched series 2 and then 3, I realized that I couldn't stand Martin Clunes' character. Be it Asperger Syndrome or whatever, I found his character utterly unlikable.
