My 8 year old daughter saw a commercial for it and wants to see it, but I've heard its not quite Seseme Street. Who's seen it and what's your opinion of it?

We were discussing who we thought it was appropriate for during the interval, and we decided that we would let a really mature 12-year-old see it, but it really depends on the kid - it wouldn't be appropriate for some 14-year-olds.
Basically, if they are beyond the stage where they giggle whenever sex is mentioned, they're probably okay. If they are aware of adult stuff such as porn (and the usual accompaniment to it), homosexuality, one-night-stands, sluts, racism etc, they are probably okay.
