It's not suitable at ALL for an 8-year old. Period.

It's as edgy a musical as you can get. Save it for when she's 16, maybe 13 if she's mature enough by then.

Not suitable for child under 15, deals with racism, homosexuality, porn etc.
Lots of fun for adults though.

absolutely hilarious! i would highly recommend it. avenue q is a spoof of sesame street. does contain bad language and sex references though, so not sure appropiate it would be for your daughter
