There is only a correlation within selective franchises i.e. there is a correlation between Star Wars trailers and films, and MCU trailers and films. Beyond that where is the correlation? Fifty Shades didn't do anywhere near the business of Age of Ultron or Jurassic World, so what's the correlation there? Cinderella didn't set a box-office record after setting a trailer record either. It seems strange to me to infer from Beauty and the Beast beating Star Wars' trailer views that it would crack $1 billion. Why not $2 billion if Star Wars is the yardstick here? It seems far more plausible to me that it will perform inline with Disney's other live-action remakes.
