Roberto Clemente Biopic!
It's probably a bit of old news but I heard that Carmelo Anthony is producing a movie about Roberto Clemente. I really hope it comes to fruition, I'm sure they're going to do it properly.
I don't think they have one yet. It seems like they're in the very early stages. I can provide you with a few links now though.

SLAM: Ive heard about your interest in the film business. You got your own production company Krossover. You was the executive producer for the a Mike Tyson documentary Tyson, and now youve been working on a Roberto Clemente project? How is all of that working out?
CA: Theres nothing finalized yet. We are still going back-and-forth with it but we are trying to figure it out right now.

It seems that screenwriter Keir Pearson and producer Larry Meli agree, and have optioned the life rights of the labor activist Chavez, and will be producing this with Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Lunas Canana Films. Pearson, by the way, was nominated for an Oscar for co-writing Hotel Rwanda with director Terry George, and also has, among other projects, a biopic of Roberto Clemente in the works for HBO and Playtone.
