Sharing some favorite food sites

Share your favorite sites here and add to your collection. We have shared many sites over the years but our post history only goes back to September, so a lot of them have been lost already. Most of mine here will link to a recipe on the site I have tried or want to try.

Very eclectic collection that changes periodically. I have found some real gems here.

Eating Well has kind of hit the skids since they're so heavy into pop-ups. I like www.yummly.com/ because they've got recipes from all of the sites you listed, and more.

Saveur has become a dive since they've decided to really hammer their particular political persuasion into one's skull like an ice pick. I have political sites I go to for that; I go to food sites to get away from that. More importantly for the people who go there for the food, their recipes aren't edited well and can occasionally give wrong amounts or leave something out. Or they're just plain odd. I thought I knew how to make sauerbraten, but according to their latest version, the gravy is supposed to look like tomato sauce.

Fine Cooking is an oldie that hasn't lost its luster in the transfer to digital platforms. Well, sometimes its site is a bit hinky, but it has so many fun things to do, like making your own recipes by choosing the ingredients and they write the recipe for you. It's a fun site to nose around on: www.finecooking.com/browseall.aspx. For their recipe makers: www.finecooking.com/collections/cyor-landing.aspx.

I ran into a place, lost it, and after much searching found it again, so I really want to share this: http://www.whats4eats.com/meats/kefta-recipeNow, that's their Kefta recipe (I like it better without the cinnamon, but it's your palate). But do nose around some lazy afternoon -- it's great!

And, of course, King Arthur Flour -- they're the last word on baking. Their blog: and their recipes: www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/.

Thanks bringing up this topic! I'm off to Fine Cooking's recipe maker, and I'll be back to bookmark the links everyone adds!

I had one bookmarked then we lost that computer. I don't remember the name but it showed beautiful photos. I'll try to remember the name. 

Maybe someone else here will remember it. I know I posted it here before. It seems like it was 'Tasty' something, but I could be wrong. I'll keep looking. 
